Yes, non-running vehicles can be assessed for collection, including those needing specialist loading. Please tell us if wheels are locked, the car is damaged or access is difficult.
You can submit recovery enquiries online at any time. Whether a recovery truck can attend immediately depends on driver availability, distance and vehicle conditions.
Payment is by bank transfer at the agreed collection stage, subject to identity, ownership and vehicle checks. Scrap cars cannot lawfully be paid for in cash in England and Wales.
Tell us before collection. We may require additional identification and evidence showing you are authorised to dispose of the vehicle. We can explain the DVLA notification process.
